Today Mrs. Lassard's 4th grade class competed in the Cards and Castles Challenge.
Students had to work together in this team building activity to design and build a
castle adhering to specific size and shape perimeters. Students were not able to
communicate verbally but could write and draw their ideas. They collaborated and
strategized with patience and true sportsmanship! I am so proud of them and amazed at their creativity!

Monroe Center families, be sure to be on the lookout for our One School, One Book Class Dismissed Activity number 2 around the community. The new QR cards are out with instructions for your kiddos! There are many businesses supporting our program, and we are so appreciative of them!!
If you have not started the book yet as a family, there is still plenty of time! The students also have access to audio recordings in their Google Classrooms of each chapter performed by current Meridian students and alumni if your family would prefer to follow along with the recording.
