Today Mrs. Lassard's 4th grade class competed in the Cards and Castles Challenge.
Students had to work together in this team building activity to design and build a
castle adhering to specific size and shape perimeters. Students were not able to
communicate verbally but could write and draw their ideas. They collaborated and
strategized with patience and true sportsmanship! I am so proud of them and amazed at their creativity!

Today 10.31.23 Trace in Mrs. Lassard's 4th grade,
completed his quest in Amplify.
He was rewarded with a certificate and a golden coin which he
exchanged for a book. So proud of this student!

Prepping for a SPOOOOOKY lunch tomorrow!

3rd grade went to Lowell Park yesterday on a field trip for Outdoor Stewardship Days and learned about the layers of the forest, the rain cycle, and animals native to Northern Illinois. They also made booklets and stencils of nature.

These students in 5MC were rocking it as they reviewed what is important to include in a personal narrative. #1 showing, not telling, #2 Use dialogue, #3 Include Figurative language, are just a few.
